    The Parish Council is active in trying to reduce crime and attends local crime forums and has forged close links with the local Police. See our meeting minutes for monthly updates

    Entertainment and events take place throughout the year, such as the Summer Fete and Brass Band concerts. They will be advertised on the Parish website, in our minutes and on the Parish noticeboard.

    There are 5 Parish Councillors and 1 Parish Clerk. The Councillors are elected every 4 years (unless a vacancy arises) The next Parish elections are to be held in 2011

    The Parish Council put this out to Tender every 4 years. The date for next Tender is 2011.

  • Planning applications

    Planning applications are posted on the website and will also be posted on the Noticeboards. The Councillors may make objections to any that are deemed unsuitable.

    Parishioners are welcome at all Parish Council meetings, however, permission must be sought prior to the meeting if a member of the Public wishes to speak at the meeting. This is to ensure that the Councillors are able to counduct all Council business in the allocated timescales. Any other public meetings will be advertised
